I’ve been thinking about the fact that so many politicians are so boring nowadays. Might be my imagination, but it feels like politicians used to show more personality, were more charismatic before. Anyway, here’s my charisma top ten among today’s Swedish top politicians, or — differently put — the ten Swedish politicians who make most sense to me.
- Maria Wetterstrand (the Green Party)
- Anders Borg (the Moderates)
- Margot Wallström (the Social Democrats)
- Marit Paulsen (the Liberal Party)
- Carl Bildt (the Moderates)
- Maud Olofsson (the Center Party)
- Lars Ohly (the Left Party)
- Fredrik Reinfeldt (the Moderates, current prime minister)
- Gudrun Schyman (the Feminist Initiative)
- Cecilia Malmström (the Liberal Party)
Let me point out that this doesn’t have much to do with how I’m going to vote. Even though it’s sometimes hard to look past the front person…
