Bandy – an ice hockey-like sport with a larger field and small red ball – is popular in Sweden, Finland, and Russia. This weekend, both the men’s and women’s bandy finals (SM-Finaler i Bandy) were being held in Uppsala so I headed up to catch the women’s teams battle it out with Team AIK eventually taking home the gold, beating out Sandviken in overtime 5-4.
