I’m still getting over the fact that 2012 seems to be flying by at breakneck speed and it’s already March (feels like only yesterday I was photographing New Year’s Day fireworks).

Maybe I shouldn’t jinx it yet but spring has certainly arrived here in Stockholm so I decided to soak in some much-needed sun by taking a slow stroll with my brand new  daughter and my mom (pictured) who is currently hanging out with us for a couple weeks.

To escape crowds and get some fresh air, you can stroll along Söder Mälarstrand on secluded Monteliusvägen (Montelius road) with marvelous views of Lake Mälaren, Gamla stan, Riddarholmen and the City Hall on Kungsholmen. Despite ongoing construction in the area, you’ll still enjoy some of the best panoramic views of Stockholm.

Snowy Days In Stockholm

Stockholm has been experiencing temperatures below -10 Celsius lately. A good enough reason to keep me indoors warming up. Yesterday, I decided to take a walk instead…

Over the next few days, I’ll be sharing warmer spring and summer photos – reasons why I endure these dark cold winters.
