You really can’t turn a corner without running into 10th-13th century ruins in Visby.

The entire town of Visby itself is a UNESCO World Heritage site chock full of Medieval ruins and old churches (more soon) and I stopped by a small cafe – Bakfickan – located right next to St. Karin’s ruins in Stora Torget for a bowl of hearty fish stew (fisksoppa).
