I’ve photographed big sprawling Valborg celebrations and they don’t get bigger than Skansen. But this time around, I found myself in the tiny village of Klöverträsk (population roughly 250) where Valborg was being celebrated in a low-key, non-alcohol fueled fashion.

Anki gets to the bakery at 7am everyday to make sure stacks and stacks of freshly baked loaves are bagged, tagged, and set out for customers by 8am when the store opens up.
