Decorations adorn storefronts and shelves. Twinkling stars hang in windows, including mine. You can definitely feel the holiday spirit here in Stockholm, even though snow has delayed its arrival. Over the weekend, I walked around Birger Jarlsgatan to photograph some of the decorations.

Wow. So beautiful! I went to two different Christmasy parties yesterday, and I am so in the Christmas mood now! Hope you’re doing well :)

All is well here in Stockholm! Christmas parties (and one delayed Thanksgiving party) to attend in the next few days :)

Lovely pictures. America is a little behind. But decorations are being put up now :)

May be a little behind but once they’re done with ‘dem decorations, my goodness! Over the top!

I put my Christmas decorations up two days early this year I usually wait until after Thanksgivings day but I was hoping they would start the Christmas spirit early this year. Lovely pictures of the decorations.

Thanks Monica! I think people are beginning to get into the mood earlier because it’s been a rough year on some many fronts around the world and people need a mental and emotional escape.

I can already feel Christmas in that place, full of lanterns, Christmas balls and a lot more different Christmas decorations. It’s really a great feeling to celebrate Christmas.

I definitely agree with you. The feeling is coming a lot earlier this year!

Pretty pictures! I have only put up the children’s advent calendars so far – all ready for tomorrow :)

Tack Sophie! Seems everyone here is getting into the spirit a little earlier than normal.
