Yesterday was no different when I met up with journalists Johannes and Johan for lunch – which was räkor (shrimp) and hokiefilé (hoki fish) in hummersås (lobster sauce) with kokt potatis (cooked potatoes) for 85 SEK (roughly $13.50) including bread, butter, salad, and coffee/tea.

Its very central location at Sergels torg on the fifth (5th) floor of Kulturhuset (The Culture House) makes it an ideal meeting spot. Despite being close to tourist-drag Drottninggatan, Café Panorama is usually packed with baby-strollers and toddlers fresh off their visit to Rum för Barn on the fourth (4th) floor as well as people in business suits on lunch breaks.

Around Town: In Sunshades And Jackets

The sun was shining intensely yet there was a chill in the air which meant many people were wearing thick winter jackets and scarves with summer sunshades as I made my way from Ropsten to T-centralen.
