I always find a queue at Café Panorama. Yesterday was no different when I met up with journalists Johannes and Johan for lunch – which was räkor (shrimp) and hokiefilé (hoki fish) in hummersås (lobster sauce) with kokt potatis (cooked potatoes) for 85 SEK (roughly $13.50) including bread, butter, salad, and coffee/tea.
Its very central location at Sergels torg on the fifth (5th) floor of Kulturhuset (The Culture House) makes it an ideal meeting spot. Despite being close to tourist-drag Drottninggatan, Café Panorama is usually packed with baby-strollers and toddlers fresh off their visit to Rum för Barn on the fourth (4th) floor as well as people in business suits on lunch breaks.

Today was one of those confusing Spring days for me. The sun was shining intensely yet there was a chill in the air which meant many people were wearing thick winter jackets and scarves with summer sunshades as I made my way from Ropsten to T-centralen.
