Alumni at the 5th SI Alumni event in St Petersburg
On 1 June my colleague Malin and I had the privilege to meet about 20 alumnis at the 5th SI alumni event i St Petersburg.
The day started with Dario Jovic, from the Swedish General Consulate in St. Petersburg, welcoming everyone. He talked briefly about the Sweden days, which is a week full of activites around the city focusing on Sweden that started with the alumni event and ends this saturday with a street party outside the general consulate.
Lucia Severed, president of KKiKK AB, followed and held a workshop on professional networking in practice. This gave us a chance to interact with each other and get to know one a another a bit better. Among the things Lucia talked about was the importance of informal meeting, contribution and trusting your intution.
After the lunch break Olga Martynkova from Smart Personnel and alumni of the Swedish Institute management programme, talked about Sweden, networking and recruitment. Smart Personnel is exclusive representative of the swedish comapny Novare Execuctive Search in Russia. During Olgas presentation questions from the audience focused on how to get a job and what to do and not do during an interview.
A big thank you to everyone of participated in the event!
