Invitation to Alumni in Tanzania and Kenya: participate in Africa Student Fairs 2014, Dar es Salaam 28-29 July and Nairobi 1-2 August, 2014

The Swedish Institute will visit Tanzania on 28-29 July 2014 and Kenya on 1-2 August 2014 to attend the Africa Student Fairs Ed Expo in Dar es Salaam and Nairobi. The purpose of the visit is to market Sweden as a Study destination and increase awareness about the SI Study Scholarships to Tanzanian students.

Invitation to attend international conference in Uppsala: “Challenges for a Peaceful World : An Agenda for the 21st Century”,10-13 December 2013

Dear SI Alumni,

You are invited to an international conference in Uppsala 10 – 13 December: Challenges for a Peaceful World: An Agenda for the 21st Century with researchers from universities and peace research institutes in Sweden, Belgium and the UK, UN officials and arms control negotiators.

To see the full programme and complete your registration, visit the online registration site. Remember to indicate the Swedish Institute as you register. The invitation has also gone out to current SI scholarship holders in the Network for Future Global Leaders (NFGL) network, so keep your eyes open for new acquaintances!

The programme is free of charge and participation will take place at your own expense.
