- Swedish Institute NFGL Diploma Ceremony 2015
For this year’s NFGL Diploma Ceremony, we wish to invite SI alumni to send in applications to speak as a representative of the SI Alumni Network—a fascinating and inspiring group of people, of which the audience soon will become members.
Travel and accommodation costs of the speaker will be covered by the Swedish Institute.
For this call, we accept applications from former SI scholarship holders only. One speaker will be selected for this opportunity. He or she should share what his or her experience in Sweden has meant and what it is like to be a member of the SI Alumni Network. The specific subject of the speech is open, but we hope it will align with our ambition to activate as many new SI alumni as possible to take action upon their return home, by applying for funding for regional events and other benefits and privileges enjoyed by members of our network.
The applicant is required to submit a rough draft of the speech, no later than Friday 25 March, and will upon selection receive coaching from the SI Alumni Team. The speech should be around 8 minutes long.
Please email your rough draft to firstname.lastname@example.org and write “Application SI Alumni Speaker 2016” in the subject line.
The ceremony will be held in the Blue Hall (the Nobel Banquet Hall) at Stockholm City Hall Friday, 27 May. All scholarship holders ending their scholarship period this summer are invited and we promise that it will be a memorable evening.
If you have any questions regarding the speech, please contact Astor Nummelin Carlberg, astor.nummelincarlberg (at) si.se.
