Invitation: round-table and Skype webinar on “Security in modern society”, Kharkiv, 15 December 2014

Please find below an invitation from SI alumni  team in Ukraine to a round-table and webinar on “Multiple aspects of problems of safety in the modern society: global, regional and local levels”, which will be held 15 December 2014 at Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics.

Dear Colleagues! We are inviting you to participate in the webinar “Multi aspects of problems of safety in the modern society: global, regional and local levels”, which will be held 15 December 2014 at Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics for development of Ukrainian-Swedish scientific, cultural and business contacts and search partners for joint international projects.

The webinar will be organized as part of a seminar on global and local security issues. The seminar and webinar are organized by Alumni of the Swedish Institute (SI), a number of research, educational and social organizations of Kharkiv (Ukraine) with the support of the Swedish Institute (Stockholm, Sweden).

The project partners are:

Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics;

The Academy of Sciences of Applied Radio Electronics;

Kharkiv National University named after V. N. Karazin;

Kharkiv National University of Economics;

Kharkiv National Medical University;

Kharkov Institute of Trade and Economy of KNTEU;

SI ” Zaitcev V.T. Institute of General and Emergency Surgery of NAMS of Ukraine”;

SI ” L. Malaya Institute of Therapy of NAMS of Ukraine”;

Public organization “Euroregion Slobozhanschina”;

Public organization “Vivat Sokrat”.

The seminar and webinar will address the following questions:

- the geopolitical situation and the problems of global security;

- regional development and local government;

- technogenic challenges and public safety;

- problems of environmental and energy security;

- health and safety of human life;

- information technology and information security.

Participants in the webinar will be able to participate as speakers or listeners, to place on the site of Webinar your contact information, reports or proposals on joint projects.

Registration for the webinar will be open till to 15 December 2014.
