INVITATION – SI alumni initiated events in Minsk, Belarus

About two months ago the Swedish Institute announced the possibility for SI alumni to apply for financial support to arrange local events, focusing on thematic areas of relevance for development in the Baltic Sea Region, which were:

  • Green technology and/or Energy efficiency
  • Innovation, Creativity and Entrepreneurship
  • Management skills, Leadership and Networking
  • Employment and Career development
  • ICT and E-solutions

The announcement has resulted in a number of creative and highly professional applications from alumni teams, bringing together former scholarship holders, SI summer university participants, former  Swedish language students as well as representatives of Swedish Foreign Missions and Swedish and local experts in the abovementioned thematic areas.

While we are still waiting for several successful candidates to accept SI grants and sign the letters of agreement, two alumni teams from Belarus are already eager to welcome participants to their inspiring events next week.

Please see the first two event invitations below and note that more invitations from Belarusian, Georgian and Ukrainian alumni are to come!
